The Process of Aircraft Pushback and Other Basic Equipments Needed

First time flyers should have basic knowledge about flying principles and the equipment that they will be using. A complete knowledge of the equipment will make your flying easier and safer. Instructors are always ready to teach all the basics of these equipments.

Aircraft Pushback-

Aircraft pushback is a procedure in which an aircraft is pushed backward away from airport by the external force. Pushbacks are carried out by special vehicles called pushback tractors.

The most important equipments of an aircraft are-
  • There are many aircrafts parts includes aircraft ribs, insulations, propellers, panels, bell crank, structural panels,  windshield, rotary wings, drones, dructs, wheels and brakes, control devices and others. A working knowledge of these parts helps you to solve a problem. You can repair and replace the parts yourself.
  • There are a wide number of aviation tools in an aircraft which includes infrared, thermometers, hose fabrication tools, hearing protection, maintenance software, metal cutting fluids, metal saws, engine compression testers, engine cylinder wrenches, deburring tools & blades, multimeters, and rivenut equipment. These aviation tools can make your flying experience more comfortable.  These equipments are the basic necessities to flying.
  • Airplane GPS is the aircraft’s ears and eyes. For small and low flying planes, handheld GPS is used to supplement the old navigational equipment. Aviation companies introduced all electronic equipment to compete with the GPS system. These equipments can purchased at aviation supply stores and can easily fit into the aircrafts.

These equipments are very expensive. Flyers are required to know the complete detail of GPS technology and be familiar with their uses.
